Rider: Natas Kaupas
Ah, Natas Kaupas, a true skateboarding legend! Natas was born in Santa Monica, California, in 1969, and started skateboarding at a young age. He quickly made a name for himself with his smooth skating style and innovative tricks, becoming one of the most influential skateboarders of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Natas is perhaps best known for inventing the ollie slide, a trick where the skater ollies onto a rail or curb and slides along it, which has since become a staple of modern street skateboarding. He also developed many other innovative tricks, such as the nollie heelflip and the switch frontside shove-it.
Apart from his impressive skateboarding skills, Natas was also a talented artist, designing his own skateboard graphics and eventually founding his own successful graphic design company.
